Bumblebee is a spin-off film centered on the Transformers character of the same name. The design and style of the film included both elements from the existing franchise as well as influences from Transformers: Generation 1 franchise of toys.[105]Principal photography on the film began in July 2017, in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California.
